When to call S&S
- A cooling or heating problem at a business
- A maintenance request for existing equipment
- A replacement project needing a scope
- Site access or scheduling constraints
Understand the cause and the scope
Tell us the equipment type, approximate number of systems, access requirements, and whether the property is occupied during the proposed work. Commercial equipment and controls vary; we confirm fit and availability for the job before scheduling.
Make a confident decision
For a replacement, define the operating needs, the components being reused, and the work required around the equipment. For service, identify the person authorized to approve repairs. Written scope and clear communication help reduce surprises for the business.
Prepare a site brief that prevents scheduling confusion
Identify the business, equipment location, affected spaces, and the person authorized to approve work. Share any available model information and whether the request involves one system or several. Commercial properties can have equipment and access requirements that differ from a typical home, so the office confirms fit for the job.
Explain occupied hours, entry procedures, roof or equipment-room access, tenant coordination, and any restriction on interruptions. Those details help define a realistic scope and visit arrangement without assuming every system can be serviced under the same conditions.
- Equipment list and affected areas
- Approval contact and billing contact
- Access, occupancy, and tenant requirements
- Symptoms, operating schedule, and recent work
Keep service findings useful for the next decision
For multiple systems, ask that findings identify the specific equipment rather than only the building. Separate the repair needed now from maintenance recommendations and replacement planning. A unit-level record makes the next visit easier to understand and reduces ambiguity when different people manage the property.
For a replacement project, define the operating requirements, retained components, controls, access, and responsibilities shared with other trades. Ask how changes or additional findings are approved. Keep the final scope and equipment documentation where the responsible property contact can retrieve them.
Your questions, answered
Can you service every type of commercial equipment?
We confirm capability for the equipment and project. Contact us with the model information and the concern before assuming coverage for a specialized system.
How do I arrange a visit?
Start with the scheduling page or call 337-287-2132. We confirm your address, service zone, equipment, and available appointment.
How does S&S stand behind the work?
Our standard written workmanship coverage is one year on installations and 90 days on repairs unless a different written term applies. Maintenance requirements and other conditions apply; equipment warranties are separate.
Failure to maintain your unit according to the manufacturer’s instructions may void coverage under its 5- or 10-year factory parts warranty. Keep your maintenance records. The manufacturer’s written terms determine your coverage.
