Sulphur, Louisiana · Customer-facing case study from a completed S&S project.
A closer look at the work
Before-and-after presentation images are cleaned marketing assets. They do not establish technical details beyond the documented project scope.

Four summers.
Four summers of an air conditioner that could not keep up with the Southwest Louisiana heat.
By the hottest part of the afternoon, Derek S. and his family were watching the temperature inside their Sulphur home climb to 78 or 79 degrees.
They had already tried to solve it. Coils were cleaned. Filters were changed. Refrigerant was added. But the relief never lasted. The next hot afternoon, the house was uncomfortable again.
Then the compressor began to rattle.
On Saturday night, it quit.
Derek's wife was due to deliver their second daughter Tuesday morning.
The hospital bags were packed. The house was hot. And the companies Derek reached said they were at least a week out.
Their newborn could be home before the air conditioning was.
Then Derek called S&S
S&S came to the home that day.
When our crew understood what the family was facing, we moved the schedule and built a plan around the deadline that mattered most: their daughter coming home.
While Derek and his wife were at the hospital welcoming their new baby, our crew worked for two days at the house.
We installed a new Tempstar by Carrier two-stage comfort system. We replaced five duct runs with new R8-insulated ductwork. We completed the thermostat, airflow, drainage-protection and control work needed for the project.
This was not another temporary patch.
It was the complete solution this particular home needed.
Before they pulled into the driveway
At the hospital, Derek and his wife were meeting their daughter.
At home, our crew was making sure the house waiting for her would not be the same hot house the family had left.
The work was finished before they returned.
Their newborn daughter came home to a cool, comfortable house.
That is the part of this project we will remember.
Not simply that a system was replaced—but that a family called during one of the most important moments of their lives, and our crew found a way to be there.
“They've definitely earned all of our future business.” — Derek S.
Welcome home, Derek S.
