EXTENDED SERVICE AREA

HVAC service in Welsh, LA

This community is in our extended service area. Call with your address and service need so we can confirm routing, availability, and any applicable trip charge.

A replacement assessment should also consider the ducts

During a documented Welsh-area replacement assessment, S&S evaluated an equipment failure and also identified duct work for the proposed project. The planning notes covered the existing indoor closet arrangement, return opening, and flue work. Those details explain why a replacement discussion can extend beyond the failed outdoor equipment.

For your estimate, ask which indoor and outdoor components will remain and which will be replaced. Have the scope identify any duct, return-air, or venting changes instead of leaving those items assumed.

Share the history of the equipment and the rooms

Tell the office whether the immediate concern is a system that stopped, a recurring repair, or rooms that have never been comfortable. Share earlier replacement and repair records if available. A component failure and a longstanding room-temperature difference may lead to separate recommendations within the same proposal.

When reviewing the written option, ask how the proposed equipment connects to the existing house and how the work will be checked after installation. Confirm access to the indoor unit and any planned changes near the equipment before the project is finalized.

Include the actual electric utility in a Welsh replacement plan

The Town of Welsh describes its own municipal electric system and membership in the Louisiana Energy and Power Authority. That makes the serving utility a useful detail to bring to an HVAC replacement discussion. Check the provider on the bill for the property; a Welsh mailing address alone should not be used to assume who supplies its electricity.

If the proposal changes heating type, adds electric backup heat, or includes electrical-service work, ask what the electrician and utility need to confirm before the installation date is set. Keep utility coordination, electrical work and the HVAC installation scope identifiable in the estimate. A new HVAC unit does not, by itself, establish that the existing electrical service needs an upgrade.

Use the property’s own recent bills when discussing operating costs. Ask which rate and usage assumptions are being used rather than borrowing figures from another town’s utility. Welsh 70591 remains in S&S’s extended service zone, with the address, scope and appointment confirmed by the office.

Your Welsh coverage

Extended service area · ZIP 70591

Use this ZIP code when checking coverage for your Welsh address. The map below shows the community for orientation. Our service is dispatched to customers; this page does not represent a separate S&S office in Welsh.

Arrange the right service visit

Tell us whether you need cooling repair, heating attention, maintenance, or a replacement discussion. Describe the symptoms and any previous work. The office will confirm the address, equipment type, and appointment rather than promising an arrival from the map alone.

Extended-area scheduling may require additional route planning. Ask about availability and any applicable trip charge before confirming the visit.

Engineered options for your home

Your Welsh address tells us where to come; it does not tell us the load, duct condition, or equipment your home needs. We evaluate the project itself, explain what will be reused, and provide a scope you can understand. Guides for your next step

Can I book a visit just because my ZIP is listed?

The ZIP confirms the configured service zone. The office still confirms scope and scheduling. Installation-only areas have a different service scope from repair and maintenance zones.

Is there a local office at the map marker?

No. The map shows the community, not a separate S&S office. Use the telephone or scheduling page to arrange service.

Map shows geography, not a branch-office location or an exact service boundary. Use the ZIP lookup to check our configured service zone.

S&S replaced the entire HVAC system in my house last week. They were honest, communicative, and ON TIME. Nobody enjoys replacing their system in general, but the experience with S&S was quite refreshing, especially compared to the other more well known companies in town.

Had the best experience with these guys. Our ac went out yesterday evening and thought we had to go stay somewhere for a few days until it got fixed. But i was wrong. S & S HVAC came out within hours with a newer unit and replaced it within a few hours. I 100% recommend these guys they have the best customer service and same day service night or day!

Our air conditioner unit stopped working on a Sunday evening during a holiday weekend, they still came out quickly and got everything taken care of! They are honest, professional, responsive and truly care! Its hard to find companies willing to go above & beyond!

Many thanks to S&S for their quick response and repair of our central AC unit. The replacement was done quickly and professionally. He explained what was going on throughout the process and also took the time to let us know what to watch for moving forward to help keep our AC running properly. They were very reasonably priced, and with the cost of everything these days, you want someone who truly has your best interest in mind. I would highly recommend giving them a shot. They will definitely be the company I use moving forward.

From the first phone call I was impressed with the friendly customer service and clear up front pricing and availability. Scheduled an appointment for 2 days later for preventative maintenance and the tech showed up on time and even though my phone was not working and I couldn't confirm his 7am arrival he still showed up and completed everything and explained and answered all my questions. Very polite and neat. Cleaned and serviced my ac inside and out and has it running more efficiently now.

Yall when I say Gary did not disappoint, we have been having issues with our AC, we finally got to point where ac went completely out- so 2 days no air in 80 degree temperatures, and when I say he came in and got the job done in no time! QUICKEST fix I've experienced, very professional!

Called S&S HVAC AT 8am had a Tech here around 9am. Gary was very polite and knowledgeable, went right to work checking my A/C. Oh, by the way it was raining lightly, Gary didn't mind, he said as long as there wasn't any lightning. Went in the Attic to check main A/C and then went to outside to condensor and found problem, bad capacitor. Put new part and checked entire system and check all vents for temp.
